About Hooligans

Hooligans core members have been gaming together since 1997. We started in Ultima Online and stopped shortly after Trammel was introduced. After jumping from game to game, we finally found a home in Shadowbane. In Shadowbane our numbers grew, along with many lasting friendships. Hooligans has been subbed/affiliated with various other guilds and we still actively play together. Our membership has always been select and based on friendship and like minded play styles. The guilds primary focus has always been PvP, but we are also willing to put our time into the supporting elements. (crafting, resources, city building, farming) We are currently at a cross roads in the MMO genre, with our members fragmented amongst many games. (SB,AOC,EvE,WAR) We look forward to coming together in our next MMO.

Account Issues?

The site is telling me my forum name is taken, but I don't see anyone with that name on my site.

The forum name's are shared amongst the Guild Launch guilds. This allows your members to join and create multiple guilds on Guild Launch as well as to use the support site http://support.guildlaunch.com and the community site http://launchpad.guildlaunch.com as well as any future community services we develop with a single login.

Atfter joining your guild they can then, of course, associate their characters with their account. Those characters will have their in-game name and will be shown as related to the user account. In addition, once you've added characters to your acccount you can pick a character name to show above your forum name on forum posts. This option can be enabled on the Guild tab of your User Page.

If your members would like a name close to their character's in-game name we recommend putting dashes before and after the name, using underscores or putting a guild abbreviation next to their name like "[XX]". This will keep the name presentable and tidy looking while being recognizable as the in-game character.
